Add a widget to your Home Screen

1. Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle.
2. Tap Edit in the top corner, then Add Widget. On older versions of iOS, tap the + button.
3. Search for Nigh, swipe to the size you want and tap Add Widget.
4. Tap Done.

Choose which countdown a widget shows

A new widget shows your next countdown, the one coming up soonest. To change it:

1. Touch and hold the widget, then tap Edit Widget.
2. Tap Countdown.
3. Pick your next countdown, the one after that, and so on up to the fifth in line.

You can add several widgets and point each one at a different countdown.

My widget shows an old number or looks blank

Open Nigh once. The widget picks up fresh data every time the app opens. If a widget still looks stuck after an app update, remove it from your Home Screen and add it again.

Use my own photo

When you create or edit a countdown, you can choose a photo from your library as the background in place of one of the built-in scenes. The photo stays on your iPhone.

Birthdays, anniversaries and other repeats

A countdown can repeat every year, every month or every week. When the day passes, it starts counting to the next one on its own.

Do I need an account?

No. Nigh has no sign-up and no login. Your countdowns are stored on your iPhone.

Is there a subscription?

No. Nigh is $4.99 once, with everything included.

Refunds

Apple handles all App Store purchases and refunds. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Email support@nighcountdown.com and tell us what happened, which iPhone you have and which version of iOS it runs. A screenshot helps a lot.
